Recycling old timber hardwoods with miniature streetscapes of the inner city is Robyn's latest series.  She draws 'plein air' with pen and ink and hand colours using watercolour back in the studio.  Robyn is combining her love of the archetypal architecture of the Inner West, her love of drawing and her desire to use beautiful wood that has been discarded.  Stay in touch to find out where to purchase a piece or perhaps commission drawings of your street!

Breathing Colours Gallery, 446 Daring Street, Rozelle is displaying Robyn's 'building blocks'.  Open Tuesday to Saturday 10-6pm

du Moulin Gallery, 155 Nelson Street, Annandale.  Closed Sundays

To see more photos, look at ROBYN HAMMOND DESIGN on Facebook.

Robyn will be showing her blocks at the BACS 2011! Click for the Link!

A work in progress!  This week Robyn designed and taped the walls in preparation for parents to paint a new, bright mural for the IGS year 4 kids.  The kids can't wait to see the finished walls and were all eager to find out what they were getting on the very bland wall...update to follow!

This painting "red land, blue sky" has been donated by Robyn to St Andrew's School who are raising money in memory of Kundayi, who died playing rugby for the school.  His mother,  Grace is starting a school in Zimbabwe in memory of her son.  Robyn felt a special attraction to this fundraiser as she was born in Zimbabwe and wanted to help disadvantaged kids there.

Colour Consulting changes Queensland home colour from Sydney!

Thursday, 04 August 2011 05:20

News: Online Consultation

Robyn was asked to colour consult for a beautiful new Queensland home via Sydney. Natasha, the owner, found Robyn online and decided to use her services to get some advice about the colours of her new home that she and her family had undertaken to build from the ground up. After a conversation and email communication Robyn compiled a colour pallete that suited the location and her style...

.... finally remembered to send you a photo displaying your colour selections of the house. Thanks again for your help, you really did take the stress out of it! It felt like a weight was lifted off our shoulders. Regards Natasha
