Colour  Consultant - Colour is the most dynamic aspect in decorating a room. It sets the mood of the environment and can alter the way we are feeling. Colour can be harmonious and tranquil or contrasting and vibrant. Without training in colour theory, selecting colours can be a stressful, time-consuming event. With Robyn’s experience and training in colour and colour psychology, the stress can be alleviated and the desired affect is achieved. Robyn will give you objective, sound advice to take the drama out of the choices you make.

Robyn will visit the home or office that is in need of a colour solution. If the project is still in the planning stages, Robyn can work off plans and take into consideration the aspect and any views. If you are renovating or redecorating to get a new look, a favourite piece of furniture, painting or architectural feature will be used as the anchor for Robyn to work from. Maybe you have a wonderful view you would like to enhance or a view you want to distract attention from? Robyn will help you come up with a solution to suit your needs at home or the office. For exteriors, neighbouring sites will be taken into consideration to best fit in. 

Robyn charges $350 for a colour consultation. This fee covers the interior or exterior colours. During the appointment, Robyn will discuss all aspects of the look you are trying to achieve. Robyn concludes the consultation by ordering brush outs and swatches which are mailed to you with a detailed specification sheet for painters to work from. Normally, you will receive your brush-outs within a week of your consultation.

The answer is simple. Robyn’s aim is to listen to the needs of her clients. She understands that everyone is different and colour choices are personal. Whilst some clients want to make a fresh start, others just want a feature wall and are happy with their existing homes/offices. And importantly, no job is too big or small!.
