Update: Robyn's Picks for 2009 (PDF File 2 Meg) Robyn's career has always involved colour and design. She has worked in the fashion industry, freelanced as a textile and surface designer, worked in a studio and loves painting for exhibitions. Robyn trained with the International School of Colour and Design in Interior Decorating/Colour Consulting. She continues to be involved with the alumni of ISCDA. She is a full member of the Design Institute of Australia. Robyn is based in Sydney's inner west. She has helped many clients on-line too. Why choose Robyn to help you? Most importantly, we all respond to colour in personal ways. Colour is not just about trends, but how we live in the spaces we create. During a colour consultation, Robyn helps her clients to understand their colour responses and will suggest colours that are appropriate for them and the space to achieve a great end result. Read Robyn's 'top 6' tips for renovating your home in the 'tips' section. What's Good and Green? Environmentally Sustainable Fabrics! Robyn has access to a newly launched range of fabrics and rugs through Seeger Gallery. The designs are based on contemporary Indigenous Australian designs. The fabrics are organically grown and printed hemp, the new buzz word for fabric. They are printed to order and can be colour matched to specific projects, minimums of 25m per colour way. The fabrics are designed by local indigenous artists, also available for commissions to paint original art works to coordinate. The printed hemps are approximately $85-95 per metre, wide width! The artists receive royalties for every rug and metre sold. The rugs are available through The Rug Company. http://www.seegergallery.com.au
